ONE SIDED LOVE

ONE SIDED LOVE

*ONE SIDED LOVE*

There are relationships & marriages where love starts beautifully, but along the way, one person begins to carry more than their share emotionally and before reality shows up, it’s already too late, children are involved and walking away becomes complicated. 🥹

*Anonymous* Oge loved him deeply knowing he separated from his wife who had a son for him. She believed in him, supported, encouraged, prayed and willing to do anything for him while enjoying his money. People even praised her: You are a strong woman and wife material. With this, She also told herself "I'm the best, I give him peace" the first woman is troublesome. When someone asks for her name, she says Mrs the man's first name and surname without adding her name, she does this in papers as well without realizing. (eg, Mrs Paul Godson, now where is your own name oge?)😩

Years passed, he reconciled with the first wife since they weren't legally divorced. Oge felt betrayed and refused to accept it and he said "I never married you, never fight a man's enemy for him, never carry a man's responsibility for him, did I force you to be with me? If you weren't there, another woman WILL! 💔

*LESSONS*
1: Do not lose yourself in love, it should not make you abandon your identity, peace or self-worth.
2: Avoid one-sided relationships; If you are constantly the one holding things together, emotionally, financially or practically, pause and reset.
3: Children create lifelong connections; When a child is involved, ties don’t fully break. It affects future relationships, boundaries, and peace.

4: Know what you are entering: A man with a past, especially with children, comes with existing emotional and practical responsibilities. Awareness prevents future shock.
5: Healthy love is balance, not sacrifice. Support each other, yes! but don’t replace someone’s responsibility with your effort just to “keep things working.” They may get too comfortable.
5: Let a man be a man or he will act like a man to another woman. 👂🏻
6: Don't get carried away and forget that "Marriage needs to happen before you can be a man's wife. No amount of cooking, cleaning, birthing kids can save a woman if table turns tomorrow. 😢

*ENCOURAGEMENT*
To every woman here; single, dating, or married:
Love is not meant to erase you. Be kind, be supportive, but never abandon your voice, your boundaries or your worth. We love you ❤️
